These set point stations are designed to give accurate control of a plant operation such as speed control. They consist of a high resolution 10-turn potentiometer enabling accurate adjustment and locking in place. A digital display may be incorporated and calibrated to the engineering variable e.g. RPM on a speed control application.

The units are loop-powered from th 4 - 20mA signal which they modulate, have an IP65 front and are certified EEx ia IIC T5.
